LEVEL 3 AWARD IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING

 The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously known as PTLLS) is a nationally accredited teaching qualification and provides an excellent introduction to the role of teaching.

You need to complete three modules to complete the course, you are assessed through three written assessments as well as a practical teaching session. An ideal course to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as: 

• individuals not currently in a teaching or training role

• individuals who are currently teaching and training 

• individuals currently working as Assessors who wish move into teaching.

The Level 3 award in education and training, previously known as ptlls qualification.

 What it includes:

You will complete the mandatory  Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training module and then choose from the following optional modules:

  •  Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training  
  •  Facilitate learning and development for individuals 
  •  Facilitate learning and development in groups 
  •  Understanding assessment in education and training  
  •  Understanding the principles and practices of assessment

Level 3 Award in Delivering Training

This qualification provides a good basis to help learners get a ‘foot first’ into training. 

It is a practical qualification suitable for new and experienced trainers (external and internal) who wish to improve their classroom skills and obtain a training qualification that will also enable them to deliver regulated qualifications.
